There was a false rumor about a shooting that caused us to go into lockout and notify law enforcement and other emergency responders. There was never an actual threat to the safety of our children, but we take every threat seriously. The Oswego County Sheriff’s Department responded immediately, thoroughly investigated the threat, and determined that the threat was not credible – and was indeed false. I am proud of our staff and students that responded brilliantly to our emergency response plan.
